Privacy policy
In short: PocketCue has no accounts and no analytics, and we don't run servers that collect anything about you. Your progress is kept on your phone and in your own iCloud or Google backup. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which asks for your consent where the law requires it, and purchases go through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat checking them. We don't sell your data.
Who we are
PocketCue is made by Nineveh Studios (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question, write to support@ninevehstudios.com.
What the game keeps, and where
- Your progress and settings — levels and stars, coins, cues and cloths, Daily results, sound and haptics settings — are saved on your phone.
- On iPhone, a backup in your iCloud. The same save is copied to your iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage) so it survives reinstalling the app and moves to a new iPhone with the same Apple ID. It's stored by Apple in your account; we can't see it. If you're not signed in to iCloud, or iCloud is off for PocketCue, nothing leaves your phone.
- On Android, Android’s own backup. If backup is on in your phone’s settings, Android includes the save in the backup it keeps in your Google account, so it comes back when you reinstall or move to a new phone. It’s stored by Google in your account; we can’t see it. You can turn it off in your phone’s backup settings.
- We don't collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location, and there's no sign-in.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
PocketCue shows ads through Google AdMob: ads between levels, and ads you choose to watch for a reward. To serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and limit how often you see them, Google may collect:
- device identifiers — on iPhone, Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when iOS asks, otherwise an identifier limited to our apps; on Android, the Android advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your phone's settings;
- your IP address and the approximate location that comes from it;
- device and app information (model, operating system version, language) and how you interact with ads.
Your choices. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks before personalised ads are shown; you can change your answer any time in the game's Settings → Privacy choices. On iPhone, Apple's “Allow to track” question controls the advertising identifier; you can change it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the phone). Ads may still show without consent, just not personalised.
Buying Remove ads stops the ads between levels. Reward ads stay available only when you choose to watch one.

In-app purchases (Apple, Google Play and RevenueCat)
Purchases (Remove ads and coin packs) are made and paid through Apple's App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm each purchase with the store and to restore Remove ads. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, random app user ID, your purchase and transaction records, and basic device and app information. See RevenueCat's privacy policy Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
Sharing a challenge or a trick shot
When you share a challenge or a trick shot, you choose where it goes through your phone's share sheet. The link contains only the level and your result (stars and shots) — nothing about you.

Children
PocketCue is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's information was collected, contact us and we'll help.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or withdraw consent for its use. Because we don't keep personal information on our own servers, most requests are handled through the choices above, or with Google or RevenueCat directly — and we're happy to help with any of it at support@ninevehstudios.com. Where the GDPR applies, personalised ads rely on your consent, and ad measurement and fraud prevention on legitimate interests.
Keeping it and deleting it
Your save stays on your phone until you delete the app, in your iCloud until you remove it from your iCloud storage, and in your Android backup until you delete that backup or turn backup off. Ad and purchase records are kept by Google and RevenueCat under their policies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date above.
